4th Annual Celebration of Achievement

Wednesday, May 1, 2019

On May 1, 2019  the fourth annual Celebration of Achievement was held at the KinDoo Family Center. While the staff and volunteers at KinDoo Family Center watched with joy,  as the tables turned--instead of the parents coming to see their children's achievements, the student's families were there to celebrate their parents, grandparents, spouses and friends achievements as the students received their recognition and award certificates.

Every staff member and volunteer are so proud of these women and men who have juggled work and family and found the time to learn new skills. There were 23 students that took sewing clalsses, 30 students that took English classes, 13 students that took cooking, 7 participated in art, 15 children were taken care of in our childcare and 8 students completed a 6 week citizenship course.

It takes a village to raise a family and that is true at the  KinDoo Family Center. Without the dedicated staff, volunteers, and numerous, generous donors as well as the students, the men and women who have given their all to bettering their lives and lives of their families. Without these many "threads" of KinDoo, the center would not exist.
